    Michael Crow and Lisa Love have grossly mismanaged this process. It's romper room over there and it's embarrassing. 100% agree with you on your comment about the booster's input, if that important, should be sought out before getting this far along in the process. I'm sure June Jones is a decent guy (although an underwhelming hire) and my apologies to him for being jerked around like this by our AD.

    This process has been mismanaged, unprofessional, uninspiring, and just plain embarrassing. It is a reflection on the AD and the President and demonstrates an ambivalence towards the athletic program as a whole. Arguably, extending Sendek is further evidence of a perspective of doing the minimum necessary. Is it any wonder alumni support towards the University as a whole is so poor? Until and unless real change happens - the program will remain irrelevant in the national picture. Gross Malfeasance in my opinion.

    Michael Crow and Lisa Love vastly underestimated the ASU faithful and poorly handled the situation. They seem to think that since we have ALWAYS been mediocre, we are just happy to stay there. WE are tired of it! Tired of the poor hires! Tired of being irrelevant! With the size of ASU and the pure number of graduates there is NO reason we should not be a relevant program. And if they thought after the Rich Rod hire the ASU faithful was going to sit back and take another Ho hum hire they were wrong!

    The winner here was June Jones! "Background issues"? That is slanderous and a lie. Talk to his former employers, his players, his friends and his acquaintances and there will not be one negative word. There will be hundreds who will say, "He is my best friend". And no person could ask for a better coach or friend. ASU does not deserve June Jones and June Jones certainly does need ASU. Do the uninformed, self-important fans and supporters at ASU who derided the choice appreciate a quality individual when they have the chance? Apparently not.
