    This will be a year of surprises for Suns fans. To base this upcoming season upon previous seasons and the two preseason losses is erroneous. Give this team a chance, and I believe this season will be one in which the "Underdog Suns" will step up and defy the critics.

    This season could be rough, but it will be for the good of the franchise. The Suns could land a lottery pick, and sign 2 big name free agents with their cap space. Then the future will be bright once again. Once Nash leaves, Sarver will have no choice but to bring in some names if he wants to keep selling tickets.

    Anyone know if that 2012 1st round pick we sent with Dragic to Houston for Brooks has any protection regarding our 2011 season finish? I.E. is it lottery protected??

    As everyone knows, it takes stars to win in the NBA. The Suns have 2 past their prime and a bunch of role players. Suns hope for the playoffs, good teams plan for the finals. Who is the go to guy? Anyway, Nash could be gone before the year is over. Hopefully to a team that is planning for the finals. And, before everyone gets their nickers in a twist, I have been a Suns fan since'68. Nothing could be worse than the first year.

    the draft pick we traded with dragic was from the 2011 draft (used to select Nikola Mirotić 23rd overall i believe). we should have our draft pick this year regardless of finish barring a trade in the future.
