I don't hate Brock but he appears to have little loyalty to ASU. The program has taken a beating over the last couple of months and his answer is to bolt the program while not even being a highly rated draft pick. Middle rounder at best.
I wish Brock the best of luck, he always seemed like a good guy. I honestly don't think he was a good fit in the new offense and I really don't see how coming back would have helped him if his goal was to play in the NFL. Bring on the Michael Eubank era.
The team next year will be absolutely horrible. He can transfer but is there a top NCAA team that really needs/wants him? He will go 4th-6th round to a team and go to camp as a battler for the 3rd spot. From there who knows what will happen. he is tall and has a good arm. He has a future in the NFL. Not saying he is Joe Montana, but he has a future. Smart choice. 3-8 next season? Jarrod
I too was shocked at the many hateful reactions to Oz's decision. I'm a big fan of his, so I am sad to see him go, but I certainly understand why he would go and wish him nothing but the best. I really hope he goes to an NFL team that I like, so that I can cheer him on in the future. I truly think that if the defense hadn't collapsed around him, and were thus able to give the ball back to him more often, he'd be in the conversation af at least a 2nd round pick. But such is the nature of QBs getting too much credit/blame for wins/losses.
