    No Payton
Payton is nothing more than a quick fix and an expensive one at that. I prefer for the Cards to continue down the path they are now moving. Fix the OL give John and Kevin a chance. Mike

    Manning to Arizona
Manning is having trouble with velocity due to nerve damage in his throwing arm after 3 surgeries and 19 months of continuing rehab. One good hit and its all over but the crying for Payton and the Cardinal's season. It would be excellent if Payton could act as the Cardinal's quarterback coach until his arm maybe got better, then swith to quarterback. The smart money though, is go with the sure thing and forget about an injured quarterback, still in rehab with a serious injury and put your plans and money elsewhere for next season.

    I agree Wolf.
Think about the players they will bring in for Manning to come here. Should something happen where he can't finish the season Kolb or Skelton will inherit that offense meant for manning. Not only that, but they'll also have Manning there to mentor them. God knows they both need a lot of help.

    Kolb's health
While much has been stated about Mannings health. What about Kolb's health? Kolb recently stated that it took 3-4 weeks "after" the season for symptoms to subside. As I recall, he was injured during the 9ers game in week 14. That's 6-7 weeks for recovery of a head injury. He's had atleast 3 we know of...serious concern that's gotten little attention media-wise.
