    Not Gentry's fault
Sarver is at fault. Fire him. There should be a provision that if some percentage, say 75%, of the season ticket holders vote against the owner, he has to sell the team. I bet over 90% would vote out Sarver right now, if not more.

    It's people like diehardcard
... that make me question society. First, how is Sarver at fault? Owners aren't the ones studying and scouting and making personnel decisions. You could maybe blame him for Hak and Childress, as I'm pretty sure those moves were made with him acting as the GM (even still, he had a team of advisors). Not only that, but how are you going fire an owner? By the way, he's not the sole owner. He's just the managing partner of an ownership group.

    Continuing on
There are plenty of bad owners that field good teams, there are plenty of good owners that field awful teams. It has nothing to do with the owner, really, because the owner isn't the one making personnel decisions, and the owner isn't the one on the court. And owner's job is primarily to do what his advisors say, write checks, and keep up a likeable image. To the last point, Sarver has been awful. But this ridiculous fan and media hate of Sarver is baseless. 90% of the things he's blamed for aren't his fault.

    The WCF Team
... was a fluke. We got a weakened Portland and a 6-seeded SA that really didn't belong there (as was evidenced the next season by their ousting at the hands of Memphis). SA is done. We finally faced a decent team in LAL and couldn't even make it to 7 on our own home court. They were better, and they showed us we didn't belong. This team is underachieving as well. Every player except Gortat and Nash are well below their usual levels of efficiency. That's called underachievement. Can we get some real opinions and real journalism here, please?
