    Kolb never had self-confidence so I don't expect him to overcome the effect of Skelton's performance and the romancing of Manning. Like other QB's before him who lost their confidence, he's toast!

    People seem to forget that in the one full game Kolb did play after skelton's run of success, Kolb actually played quite well, looking a little rusty out of the gate (understandably) but finishing the game looking like the guy the Cards were praying he was when they gave up what they did for him. He then got his concusion on the very first series of his next game, so we never got to see more, but it seemed to me he showed enough in that one game to prove he, if nothing else, is the type that uses competition as a means to motivate himself, not something to crumble under.

    That doesn't mean Kolb will end up being a great QB, he could never fully put it together or he could end up being injury prone and just never staying on the field long enough to show us what he could have been, I just hate when people suggest that he already lost (or never had) confidence after Sketon had that good run last year, cause he already proved other wise, Skelton fan's or Kolb haters just seem to like to conveniently forget that game before the concussion.

    If Kolb is what I think he is he will come in this year with something to prove. I have always been a Kolb fan and I know he is alot better than most think. You can all say what you want about him but as fans we are know-it-alls and rotten to the core. I personally believe he is going to prove you all wrong and I hope he does. I wasn't wrong about Manning going to the Broncos and I don't think I'm wrong about Kolb.
