    I may be completely off base, but I wonder if Majerle is a factor in Gentry's status. Majerle wants to be a head coach in the league, and I am sure it will come sooner than later. While Gentry has been good w/ the Suns (.556 win %), he's a career sub .500 coach. I personally don't know that I consider him to be a "franchise" coach. I think other coaches would have had basically the same results with the level of talent in Phx. IMO, Majerle is as close as we have to a "Mr. Sun" right now, and cant imagine the reaction should he leave.

    Sarver isn't going to spend the money. Babby has basically said as much. Sarver and Babby wont be able to attract anyone of Elite status here once Nash leaves. Nash will leave because he already has seen... what they have done and been told what they will do...nothing. Since I cut my teeth on suns basketball, fast paced, run and gun exciting stuff its hard to watch somebody with so little feel for the game run this franchise into the NBA background of losers and a revenue sharing tool of the owner.
