I agree with it being fixed 100% The league and David Stern
are in love with whoever is popular. This year LeBron James
and Kevin Durant. People will come to see these guys. BIG
TV Money. The Championship series with be Miami and OKC.
The Ref's will make both of the series they are in now go
to 6 or 7 games ( TV REVENUE )and then It will be a 7 game
Series in the finals. IT's all about the money.
Anyway....Mark it down OKC and Miami in the finals and It
will be LeBron's year so Kevin Durant can win it next year.
especially with Stern as the head. Just look at what has happened with trades, teams getting top picks such as Cleveland twice, NO's pick, Washington, the spurs, New York, Orlando and the list goes on. Watch out for the nets next year if they cant land a huge trade. However, look at our suns? Pathetic! Portland sees the writing on the wall and unloads players and gets another lottery pick again! Suns sit pat because they like mediocrity and are not aggressive in getting assets and rebuilding with young studs. the nba is a joke.
get a giant bingo ball machine and draw the first pick, second pick, and third pick on live tv. I mean come on none of this behind closed doors crap and here is your envelope. people say its fixed because the way you do things.
You would like to think the NBA is beyond this kind of crap, but Stern is not to be trusted. The guy is a worm. He is so stuck on himself it is unbelievable. I still question the Tim Donaghy findings. Stern did his own investigation. Kind of like the Warren Commission and NCAA teams who investigate their own violations. Always miss a few things. I hope there is no conspiracy, but I wouldn't trust Stern at all.
i've never really "thought" there was a conspiracy, i've always "known" there was a conspiracy!! the simple fact of the foul discrepancy. why does the visiting team almost ALWAYS have more fouls called on them than the home team? this is so noticeable especially in the playoffs. one night a team can be playing at home and commit so few fouls, but 2 nights later when they are the road team, all of the sudden they are fouling like crazy!?! this is where the real "home court advantage" is! I call BS. shouldn't a foul be a foul no matter who the home team is?
