    nope
Bringing up a pitcher with all of 25 innings of relevant work is far to soon, especially for something as irrelevant as 'buzz'. If the team wins, people will pay attention. If not, they won't. Jerking with a guy's arm and career to put a few extra butts in the seats for a week doesn't make sense. The team is on the rebound anyway. They'll surge before the all star break.

I understand where you're coming from, but I happen to think Bauer is ready to join the rotation. He's dominated the minors and at this point has nothing left to prove at that level. As for his arm, he's going to be pitching somewhere, so why not have it be for the D-backs?

At this point, all he's doing in the minors is wasting innings. He's proven he can dominate them; it's time for him to help the big club. They need the support. The only true constant in the rotation this season has been Wade Miley. Bauer would likely help boost morale. They've won three in a row and are inching closer to .500—the time is indeed now.
