The Phoenix Suns have officially signed Ronnie Price to a 10-day contract.
This will be Price’s third stint with the Suns.
The 33-year-old point guard played for the Suns in 62 games last season but joined the Oklahoma City Thunder before 2016-17. He did not make it out of camp with the Thunder and had not signed with another team.
Price averaged 5.3 points and 2.4 assists for the Suns last year in 19.5 minutes per game. He previously played for Phoenix in 2011-12.
The NBA journeyman, known for his energy and physicality, gives Phoenix another fresh body for practice, though it remains to be seen if or how the Suns would use him in their rotation assuming a trade is not on the horizon.
Eric Bledsoe, Brandon Knight and Tyler Ulis have all manned the point guard spot and have shared backcourt minutes with Devin Booker and Leandro Barbosa.
