PHOENIX, Ariz. — Killian Larson scored 31 points and pulled down 13 rebounds as Grand Canyon rolled through San Diego Christian 91-61 Friday night.
The Antelopes (4-3) shot a blistering 52 percent in the first half on their way to a 42-28 lead. Grand Canyon used the free-throw line to its advantage, hitting 15 of 21 first-half attempts in addition to finishing 27 of 37 for the game.
Grand Canyon opened the second half on a 19-2 run, pushing its lead to 61-30. The Antelopes somehow improved on their first half shooting, hitting at a 63 percent clip. Larson scored six points during the run.
Jerome Garrison added 20 points for Grand Canyon, half of them coming from the line. Blake Davis added 12 while Demetrius Walker scored 11.
Trevor English led San Diego Christian with 19 points, and Kwaminique Brandon added 13.
