Former D-back Daniel Hudson is not a fan of Pittsburgh weather

According to Weather.com, The Thursday weather in Pittsburgh is 25 degrees with light snowfall. Conversely, the Thursday high for Phoenix is 84 degrees with partly cloudy skies.
For most people, this information is meaningless. But not for Daniel Hudson, the former Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher who signed with the Pittsburgh Pirates during the offseason.
It all started with this tweet from MLB, which highlighted a Pirates game that was played in the snow.
All weather is baseball weather … kinda. #SnowStorm pic.twitter.com/QJHQvu8psk

What. Is. This. @Pirates https://t.co/xntA3xd69y

Evidently, Hudson is ill-prepared for the conditions he might soon play in.
. @Pirates @MLB what’s a jacket?

The 29-year-old pitcher also jokingly tweeted that the Pirates sent him favorable pictures of PNC Park before he signed, only then to reveal the truth once he was under contract.
Here are the two pics @Pirates sent me in December pic.twitter.com/2O2SPnbwWj

Hudson, who was in Arizona from 2010 to 2016, should be able to manage in his new home, as has his two-year contract worth $11 million should help him acclimate to whatever weather Pennsylvania has to offer.
And if nothing else, luckily for Hudson the Pirates’ pitchers and catchers are set to report to spring training on Feb. 13 in Bradenton, Florida, where Thursday is offering sunshine and a high of 74 degrees.
