A familiar face will be sticking around the Phoenix Suns for the rest of the season.
Point guard Ronnie Price signed a contract with the team for the rest of the season. Price, 33, has played 12 seasons in the NBA since going undrafted out of Utah Valley State College. For his career, he averages 3.8 points, 1.2 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 0.8 steals per game in 532 games played.
The Suns’ new addition will be familiar to many fans. Price is in his third stint with Phoenix. He signed in 2011 as a free agent. In 2015-16, the Suns signed Price again but did not give him a new contract in the summer. For his Phoenix career, Price averages 4.7 points, 2.1 assists and 1.1 steals per game.
Price has made two appearances since signing two 10-day contracts, the first of which came on Jan. 27. The Suns waived forwards Mike Scott and Jared Sullinger, whom they acquired at the trade deadline.
