Suns’ Marquese Chriss suffers calf injury vs. Hornets, returns to game

Marquese Chriss gave the Phoenix Suns’ a scare against the Charlotte Hornets on Thursday when he went to the locker room with a left calf injury. He later returned to the bench after the first quarter and re-entered the game early in the second.
While backpedaling, Chriss was injured when he attempted to maneuver to stay in front of Charlotte point guard Kemba Walker.
Kemba killed a man just to watch him die.

Chriss left the game with three points, but he returned to close the evening with 17 points, including three made threes.
The 6-foot-10 rookie out of Washington is averaging 7.9 points and 3.6 rebounds per game this season. He is shooting 43 percent overall and 30 percent from three in 61 games, including 53 starts.
