The Pac-12 Tournament bracket is set and both Arizona State and Arizona know who they will face in Las Vegas this week.
Coming off a 73-60 loss to the Wildcats, Arizona State (7-11 in the Pac-12, 14-17 overall) earned the No. 8 seed and will play the No. 9 seed Stanford at 1 p.m. on March 8. The Sun Devils are 2-0 against Stanford this season, winning 98-93 on Dec. 30 on the road and defeating them 75-69 in Tempe on Feb. 11.
The winner of that game will take on No. 1 seed Oregon on March 9 in the quarterfinals at 1 p.m. The Ducks barely survived against the Sun Devils in their lone matchup of the season, squeaking by ASU 71-70 on Feb. 2.
After a 27-4 regular season that included a 16-2 conference record, Arizona will have an easier path.
Earning a bye as the No. 2 seed, the Wildcats will play the winner of No. 7 seed Colorado and No. 10 seed Washington State on at 7 p.m. on March 9. The Wildcats were a combined 3-0 against the two teams.
The last two top seeds earning a bye are No. 3 UCLA and No. 4 Utah.
Every Pac-12 Tournament since 2011 has had either Arizona or Oregon in the championship game. As the top seeds, the past two winners of the tournament could face off in the final.
