The Arizona Coyotes recalled defenseman Zybnek Michalek and forward Laurent Dauphin from the AHL Tucson Roadrunners on Sunday.

Dauphin, 21, has scored three points and registered 12 penalty minutes in 24 games for the Coyotes this season. He has frequently split time between the Roadrunners and Coyotes throughout the season. He has collected 14-8-22 in 31 AHL games this season.

Dauphin is an emergency recall for the team, who have been working through injury issues on the front line. Center Alexander Burmistrov went out with an upper-body injury earlier this week. Captain Shane Doan did not play in the team’s 3-0 loss to the St. Louis Blues on Saturday, and is considered day-to-day with a lower body injury.

Michalek, 34, has registered 6-8-14 in 43 games with Tucson this season. The Jindrichuv Hradec, Czech Republic native was traded to Arizona during the 2012 NHL Draft. The Coyotes traded him two years later, but re-signed him in the summer of 2015. He has collected 32-108-140 in his career with Arizona and ranks second in games played and seventh in points for a defenseman in franchise history.

The Coyotes (26-36-9) sit at the bottom of the Pacific Division with 61 points on the season. The team begins a five-game road trip on Monday against the Nashville Predators.
