The Arizona Cardinals added some speed to their wide receiver group, signing free agent Harvey Binford on Wednesday.
Binford participated in the NFL’s pro player combine, which was held last week at the Cardinals’ Tempe facility.
Binford, 26, was last with the Green Bay Packers, who released him during the team’s final roster cut following training camp in 2016.
In college, Binford played two seasons at Lindenwood University-Belleville, where he caught 43 passes for 978 yards and nine touchdowns. According to AZCardinals.com, he was timed at 4.22 seconds in the 40-yard dash in an intramural track meet at the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
Before joining the Packers, Binford had spent two seasons playing for the Philadelphia Soul of the Arena Football League.
