Predators mascot Gnash trolls NHL writers who picked the Blackhawks to win

There’s the saying “act like you’ve been there before.”
Gloating after winning in the first round of the NHL playoffs wouldn’t usually be categorized as a good thing, but maybe we can make an exception for the Nashville Predators. Not only was this a No. 8 seed beating a No. 1 seed, this was a sweep that was capped on Thursday night.
Chicago hadn’t been swept once since the 1993 season, and because the franchise has won three Stanley Cups this decade, this was a big deal in Nashville.
Team mascot Gnash thought so, and he used the opportunity to troll the Blackhawks.
More importantly, Gnash called out the hockey reporters and writers who all picked Chicago to win the series.
The main target was ESPN, to which Gnash issued a cold message.
@espn please stick to basketball and social issues because hockey isn't your thing. World Wide Leader in Sports my furry butt. pic.twitter.com/LMKNYtGhiN

Yahoo! Sports Puck Daddy writer Greg Wyshynski was alone in correctly predicting Nashville’s victory.

That wasn’t all the fun Gnash had on Thursday night following the completed sweep. He called out actress Alyssa Milano and then gave the Blackhawks’ mascot, Tommy Hawk, a map of golf courses to fill his time this premature offseason.
Hey @Alyssa_Milano Who's the Boss now?!?!? https://t.co/ntf84T1uJy
