Hockey players are known for being some of the toughest athletes out there. They constantly get slammed against the boards, get in fights and if there’s no blood shed at a game then we’re all surprised.
Maybe Isaiah Thomas is playing the wrong sport?
Well, that’s probably not the case as he’s quickly elevated his game to All-Star level, but no one can question his toughness for a good while.
Thomas and his Boston Celtics hosted the Washington Wizards for Game 1 of a second round matchup in the NBA Playoffs, and it quickly got painful for the former Suns’ point guard.
Just six minutes into the game, Thomas took an elbow to the face and his tooth went flying.

Now it’s one thing to take the hit and then be done for the day. Everyone would surely understand that, but Thomas continued to play, and of course, played well.
