Washington forward Markieff Morris sprained his ankle in Game 1 of the Celtics-Wizards playoff series and said he thought Boston’s Al Horford had intentionally tried to injure him.
Morris told reporters he’d ask Horford about it during Game 2 and did exactly that before throwing Horford to the ground in what became a bloody, physical outing. Then Morris got into it with former Suns teammate Isaiah Thomas.
For more bad Phoenix Suns memories, Thomas finished with 53 points in the Celtics’ 129-119 overtime victory as Morris fouled out.
Anyway, all that was almost expected, especially by Suns fans who mostly remember Morris unfondly — and that Thomas trade to Boston.
Now that you know the summary of the game, here’s the conspiracy theory:
Was Markieff Morris actually twin brother Marcus Morris? That ankle sprain looked pretty bad, and they do look like the same dude, after all.
Insert “thinking face emoji” here.
