Even though temperatures in Phoenix will easily soar north of 100 degrees and the D-backs will play their baseball indoors, winter is coming.
That’s because the Arizona Diamondbacks will be hosting a Game of Thrones night on July 7 and giving away a special edition Taijuan Walker bobblehead. Walker is dressed as a White Walker, an ice creature featured on the popular HBO television series.
Walker has been honored with a bobblehead day before — when he played for the Seattle Mariners — and that one, too, was a little more than just him in his baseball uniform: He was dressed as Taijuan “Sky” Walker as part of a celebration of the movie Star Wars.
