We all know how great Larry Fitzgerald is.

The 10-time Prowl Bowl selection is undoubtedly the best receiver in Cardinals history. He leads the franchise in receiving yards, touchdowns and catches while being a great person off the field, too.

Fitzgerald’s 14,389 receiving yards top all active players and his 104 receiving touchdowns rank second, trailing only tight end Antonio Gates’ 111.

Fitzgerald is undoubtedly one of the best wideouts of all-time, though, and when Gil Brandt of NFL.com compiled a list of the greatest receivers in history, he placed Fitzgerald at No. 7.

Arizona Cardinals, 2004-present
» Voted to 10 Pro Bowls, First Team All-Pro one time
» Started 200 of 202 NFL games
» Holds NFL record of four consecutive playoff games with at least 100 yards receiving.
» No. 3 on the all-time receptions list with 1,125

Brandt puts the 2008 All-Pro behind Bob Hayes, Marvin Harrison, Terrell Owens, Randy Moss, Don Hutson and Jerry Rice for the title of greatest receiver ever.

Regarding the all-time receiving leaderboard, Fitz should be able to climb a few spots on the statistical ladder and add to his Hall of Fame resume.

If the 13-year NFL veteran can rack up 904 more yards, he would reach third on the all-time list behind just Terrell Owens and Jerry Rice.

The 2004 first-round pick needs 201 receptions to pass Tony Gonzalez, a tight end, for second place.

Fitzgerald’s 104 receiving touchdowns rank him eighth among all NFL players, seven behind Gonzalez.

No matter what Fitzgerald does in 2017 or how many more seasons he’ll play, his place among the greats is secure.
