The woman who made headlines on College Game Day is now creating a stir in the National Football League.

Pop star Katy Perry will reportedly perform at halftime of Super Bowl XLIX.

Though there have been rumors of the NFL asking artists to pay to play the big game, Perry said she was “not the kind of girl who would pay to play the Super Bowl.”

Regardless of whether the sensation who brought pop music fans hits like “California Gurl”, “Teenage Dream”, “Dark Horse”, and “Roar” will actually pony up to perform, her popularity with all generations should make for a well-received show.
