Suns’ Josh Jackson makes All-NBA Summer League First Team

Jul 17, 2017, 6:36 PM | Updated: 6:38 pm

The NBA announced their award winners for the NBA’s Summer League in Las Vegas and Phoenix Suns forward Josh Jackson made All-NBA Summer League First Team.

Jackson averaged 17.5 points, 9.2 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.2 steals and a block per game over the course of the five games he played. His 9.2 rebounds per game led the team. He scored at least 13 points in all five games.

He isn’t the first Sun to earn the honors. Both Alan Williams and Tyler Ulis made the teams last year, with Williams on the First Team and Ulis on the Second Team.

The Kansas product joins Portland’s Caleb Swanigan, Atlanta’s John Collins, Dallas’ Dennis Smith Jr. and the Lakers’ Lonzo Ball as the other members of the team. Ball was named the MVP.
