Fitzgerald, Johnson among top 50 in NFL merchandise sales

Take a walk in Arizona and there’s a decent chance that you’ll see someone sporting a Cardinals shirt or jersey.
The usual suspects for whose name appears on the back of those shirts and jerseys are David Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald.
The apparel that dons Johnson and Fitzgerald’s pictures and names contribute to the two being the only Arizona players that appear on the NFLPA’s top player sales list, coming in at No. 42 and 49, respectively.
The list, which includes sales from March 1 to May 31 of this year, doesn’t just take into account shirt or jersey sales, but instead just about every licensed item that the player appears on.
That includes the pictures hanging on the walls in young fans’ rooms and man caves all across the Valley, phone cases, toys, drinkware and much more.
The leader in NFL merchandise sales is, of course, Tom Brady. Behind Brady, four Cowboys players appear in the top 10, with four Raiders present in the top 20.
