The Arizona Cardinals returned from their first preseason game in Canton, Ohio, and hit the field for practice back home on Saturday.

They also announced some changes to the roster.

The Cardinals signed linebackers Josh Bynes and Terence Waugh. In the process, they released wide receiver Larry Clark and waive/injured linebacker Gabe Martin, who had an Achilles injury.

Bynes is a six-year NFL veteran linebacker, playing three years in Baltimore and the last three seasons for Detroit.

He played in nine games in 2016, starting eight times, recording 26 tackles and three pass defenses.

His best season came just the year before, where the 6-foot- 1-inch, 239-pound Auburn alum played in all 16 games for the Lions, starting 11 times. He tallied 54 tackles, five pass defenses and a forced fumble.

Bynes has played 64 games with 28 starts in his NFL career.

Waugh is a coming off a four-year collegiate career at Kent State.

Last season, he was named to the All-MAC First-Team and ranked second in the conference in tackles for a loss per game while leading the team in sacks (eight).

Waugh was also named First-Team All-MAC in 2015, where he led the team with nine sacks and 12 tackles for a loss.

Martin played eight games for the Cardinals last season before hitting the Injured Reserve list on Nov. 18. He had one fumble recovery in those eight games.

Clark is a rookie out of Colorado State-Pueblo. He did not record a catch in the Hall of Fame Game.
