Michigan to wear all maize uniforms in opener vs. Florida

For the first time since 1928, the Michigan Wolverines will take the field for their season opener against Florida Saturday in a maize-colored jersey instead of the traditional blue or white.
Michigan, one of the more traditional college football programs when it comes to on-field fashion, has tinkered a bit with its uniforms since 2016, when it became the first team in the nation to wear Jordan Brand uniforms.
Florida, who is outfitted by Nike, will be wearing a specially designed all-blue uniform for the game, the AdvoCare Classic, which will be played at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
