We’re two weeks into the 2017 NFL season, and things have been a bit crazy to start the year. The Patriots lost in Week 1, the Lions are 2-0, Vance Joseph is having the time of his life and the Cardinals are looking to get back on track.

Amid the chaos, 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station’s own Doug and Wolf continue to do their weekly NFL Power Poll, ranking who they believe are the best teams in football.

Here is who they went with:

Doug
5. Detroit Lions
4. New England Patriots
3. Denver Broncos
2. Atlanta Falcons
1. Kansas City Chiefs

Wolf
5. Baltimore Ravens
4. Denver Broncos
3. Pittsburgh Steelers
2. Carolina Panthers
1. Atlanta Falcons

“How in the world would you be able to, in good conscience, look at the Detroit Lions and say they’re No. 5?”, Wolf asked Doug. “As a matter of fact, the Baltimore Ravens, ladies and gentleman, and that defense, BALLIN’!”

“Very interesting that you would go with Baltimore after their wins over the Bengals and the Browns,” Doug replied.

Yes, the Ravens are 2-0 — but Doug took exception to Wolf’s pick because Baltimore beat a team that has scored nine points through two weeks this year, then a team that was 1-15 last season.

As for the Pats, Doug said the No. 4 ranking might be the lowest he’s ever had them, but it wasn’t for lack of performance by New England — It’s just by virtue of the strong showing by the teams ahead of them.

You can hear their explanation for their other picks by listening to the podcast above, and you can also catch their weekly rankings live on 98.7 FM, Arizona’s Sports Station.
