The Arizona Cardinals are reportedly losing an offensive tackle from their practice squad to a team in the NFC.

John started three games for the Arizona Cardinals in 2016 and played in two games for the Miami Dolphins in 2015. He was signed by the Cardinals to the practice squad in mid-September after being cut.

When the team brought back Chris Johnson, signed D.J. Foster and placed David Johnson on injured reserve, John was the player waived to make room on the roster.

For John, this is the third time he has been signed to a team’s roster from another’s practice squad.

The 25-year-old was selected in the seventh round by the Indianapolis Colts in 2014 before being signed off their practice squad in October of 2015 by the Dolphins. A year later, after being released by the Dolphins and moving back to a practice squad role like he did with the Colts, he was signed by Arizona to the 53-man roster.
