Vegas Golden Knights replace ads with ‘Vegas Strong’ for first home game

In the Vegas Golden Knights’ first-ever home game at T-Mobile Arena, advertisements on the dasher boards will be replaced with “Vegas Strong.”

Just days after 59 people were killed and hundreds more injured in a mass shooting at a Las Vegas concert, the Golden Knights will play their first home game in franchise history.

The Knights are looking to remain undefeated and pick up their third straight win after defeating the Dallas Stars and Coyotes, in that order, last week. The Coyotes come into the game looking for their first win of the year.

But despite the on-ice battle, the Coyotes will show their unity with the Las Vegas community and shooting victims by wearing “Vegas Strong” stickers on their helmets.

Puck drop for the game is scheduled for 7 p.m.
