Cardinals linebacker Karlos Dansby left with a finger injury in the first quarter of Arizona’s Sunday game against the Los Angeles Rams in London.

Paul Calvisi of 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station reported that the starting inside linebacker was questionable to return. He did with his fingers taped up.

Dansby hurt himself making a tackle and getting his fingers caught in a Rams player’s jersey. Josh Bynes replaced Dansby and on his first series made a key 3rd-and-goal pass breakup to force Los Angeles into a short field goal, which gave them a 3-0 lead on Arizona with 4:24 to play in the first quarter.

Dansby had 35 tackles on the season heading into Sunday.

Bynes signed with the Cardinals on Aug. 5 and in limited time has 13 tackles and two forced fumbles coming into the Week 7 game at Twickenham Stadium.

Bynes has 69 games of NFL experience and spent his first five seasons with the Baltimore Ravens and Detroit Lions prior to landing in Arizona.
