If Houston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa’s best day of his life wasn’t locked up after his team won the World Series Wednesday night, it very likely was shortly after the game.
During a postgame interview on FOX, Correa smoothly transitioned into a marriage proposal for his girlfriend Daniella.
Pulling the ring out of his back pocket, Correa said Daniella makes him the happiest man in the world and then asked the big question.
While Daniella didn’t officially say yes right away, it was clear what her answer was. Correa put the ring on her finger and got the verbal confirmation that she would marry him.
In an incredible moment, Correa screamed, “a celebration!” to the crowd on the field to loud cheers with his new fiancé around his arm.
