Arizona Rattlers remain atop AFL Coaches’ Poll

May 28, 2014, 10:36 PM | Updated: 10:45 pm

Following their 70-25 win over the LA KISS Sunday, the Arizona Rattlers are once again atop the Arena Football League Coaches’ Poll.

The Rattlers (10-0) are in the top spot for the 23rd consecutive week, dating back to last season.

However, their lead is a scant one. Nine of 14 league coaches voted the Rattlers first, while the Cleveland Gladiators (9-0) got five first place tallies. The Rattlers’ lead is down to five points.

Week 12 could be a struggle for both of the league’s undefeated teams. Arizona returns home to host the third-ranked San Jose Sabercats Saturday at US Airways Center, while the Gladiators travel to battle the fourth-ranked Pittsburgh Power.
