GLENDALE, Ariz. – As expected, cornerback Patrick Peterson and left tackle Jared Veldheer will play, and start, for the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.
Their availability had been somewhat up in the air only because the two were listed questionable on the final injury report. Head coach Bruce Arians, though, had said both would play when he spoke to reporters on Friday.
More good news heading into the matchup with Tennessee: defensive lineman Josh Mauro and wide receiver J.J. Nelson are good to go. They had each been limited in practice during the week with ankle and knee issues, respectively.
Corey Peters, however, is not yet healthy. He’s missing a fourth straight game because of an ankle injury.
The remaining inactives are wide receiver Carlton Agudosi, quarterback Matt Barkley, wide receiver John Brown, offensive lineman Max Tuerk as well as running backs Bronson Hill and Adrian Peterson.
Brown (toe) and Peterson (neck) had already been ruled out.
For the Titans, linebacker Derrick Mason (knee) is out due to injury and among the team’s listed inactives.
The others not in uniform for Tennessee include wide receiver Harry Douglas, offensive lineman Corey Levin, tight end Luke Stocker, quarterback Brandon Weeden plus cornerbacks Kalan Reed and Curtis Riley.
