The Arizona Cardinals signed Carlton Agudosi to the practice squad Wednesday after releasing him from the 53-man roster on Monday.

Agudosi, 23, was an undrafted free agent out of Rutgers and has not recorded a catch in the NFL. He spent time with Arizona’s active roster as coach Bruce Arians and general manager Steve Keim searched for answers for an under-performing receiving group.

The 6-foot-6, 220 pound receiver didn’t receive much action as a college player, totalling 513 yards on 35 receptions throughout his four-year career. His best season came as a junior, when he caught 17 balls for 313 yards (18.4 yards per catch) and a touchdown.

He tallied four receptions for 52 yards in four preseason games for the Cardinals this year.
