The usual antics of Arizona State’s 942 Crew and the Curtain of Distraction will be on display once again Sunday, as the Sun Devils take on Vanderbilt.

Similar to when Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps emerged from the curtain in 2016, the Sun Devils are expecting a special guest.

Diamondbacks reliever Archie Bradley will be making his first appearance in the Curtain of Distraction, the 942 Crew announced Thursday.

Of course, exactly how Bradley will be featured once the curtain opens remains to be seen. But, with all of the national attention the No. 5 Sun Devils have received since upsetting No.2 Kansas at Allen Fieldhouse, a unique act can be expected.

In 2013, the Curtain of Distraction was created by the 942 Crew to distract opponents at the free throw line. Just before the shot, the curtain set up right behind the basket opens, displaying a wide variety of acts in hopes of distracting the player and forcing him to miss.

The curtain has gained attention of its own in recent years, and has been an additional attraction for Sun Devil fans.

Check out the curtain for yourself as Arizona State welcomes Vanderbilt to Wells Fargo Arena on Sunday. Tip-off is at noon and can also be heard live on ESPN 620 AM.
