Arizona Cardinals return man and backup receiver Brittan Golden left the team’s 20-15 loss to the Washington Redskins with a broken arm, and he’ll be out three to four months after undergoing surgery on Monday, coach Bruce Arians told Bickley and Marotta on 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station.

Golden finishes the season with five catches for 70 yards while also having played a key role on special teams this season.

The head coach added that seven to eight others were injured in the loss at FedExField.

Among them were linebacker Karlos Dansby (calf) and his backup, Josh Bynes, the latter of whom limped off the field late in the fourth quarter with an ankle sprain, Arians told Bickley & Marotta. Scooby Wright filled in with both Dansby and Bynes sidelined.

Additionally, safety Antoine Bethea left for a portion of the first half with a knee injury before returning. Second-year defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche didn’t finish the game due to a wrist injury.

Arians said the team would know more about the injury toll by Wednesday.
