In the last game of the season — and in his college career — it only took Demario Richard a little more than a quarter of play to eclipse the 1,000-yard mark for the 2017 season.

With a run in the second quarter of the Sun Bowl against NC State, Richard joins Woody Green and Freddie Williams as the only Sun Devils with multiple 1,000-yard seasons.
In addition, Richard also passed Wilford White (3,173) for 4th on ASU’s all-time rushing list with 3,182.
In the last four games of the regular season, Richard showed off his running prowess, stacking up four straight 100+ performances, including a 189-yard effort against Colorado.
