It’s time for the Miami Heat to break up the Big 3

Win or lose, the Miami Heat need to break up the Big 3.

The contrived greatness constructed in South Beach never saw a day where they would accomplish so much and be a detriment to each other.

From a production standpoint, D-Wade is an aging version of LeBron James. They both need the ball in their hand in order to be effective. They both seem to defer to the other from time to time and their plus-minus in the NBA Finals supports this truth. D-Wade benefits from James’ presence, opening up lanes for him and giving him room to work in, but does very little for LeBron.

Chris Bosh is not the front line force the Heat need. He is not physical; he is not tough; he is not a great defender; he is not built like Wade and James. He is not a good fit. He is a role player that is getting paid like a superstar.

Win or lose, I can see the Miami Heat breaking the Big 3 up after this season. Even though Wade and James are physically similar, the most likely candidate to go is Chris Bosh. D-Wade and King James are lions and play with uncommon ferocity.

Which one of the three is not like the other?

Tiger Woods is the Lord of the Headlines

Tiger Woods is still dominating headlines but the golf world has moved on. In terms of production, this is a man that hasn't been relevant in years but whatever he does cameras, microphones and interest follows him like TMZ on Travolta.

Adrian Peterson’s perdition

There's a ton of subterfuge swirling in and around the Adrian Peterson affair. Rumors and innuendo seem to be the currency used to build arguments as to where Minnesota's talented back is headed. So let me add to the speculation:

The curious case of Chris Borland

Good for Chris Borland. He made an immediate decision through a long-term lens and he seems to be at peace walking away from the game he loves and played so vigorously.

Markieff Morris: Do your job

"Do your job," Bill Belichick said, running his harry hands through his greasy hair. "Nobody is responsible for how you play but you…not your mother, not your aunt Edna…do…your…job."

The threat of Los Angeles is a powerful one for the NFL

The NFL has always been a progressive sports league but what they have done with the L.A. market may be their masterpiece.

LeBron

Recently, LeBron James tweeted something out that clearly referenced Kevin Love. He implored the social media populace to stop trying to "FIT-OUT" and start trying to "FIT-IN."
