When a player enters any professional sport from the college ranks, there’s usually a learning curve and transition period that player has to go through.
But, that’s not always the case.
In the history of the National Football League, 63 different players have run for 1,000 or more yards in their rookie seasons. We’re not going to ask you to name all of them on this Trivia Tuesday — we know you’ve got stuff to do.
But, your challenge this week is to name the 25 most productive runners in their respective rookie seasons. We’ve given you the year they did it, the team they did it for and the amount of yardage amassed in that season.
There are some legendary names in the quiz, and others that might make you say “who?”
