Fitz, won’t you stay with me?

Carson Palmer and Bruce Arians called it a career.

Replacing them are among the lingering questions for the Arizona Cardinals this offseason, but a decision remains for the most steady Cardinal of all — Larry Fitzgerald.

There are reasons the future Hall of Fame wide receiver could retire.

He’s checked almost all the individual boxes one could, and it’s never easy to continue a career with so much change going on around him.

Yet, there are so many reasons for Fitzgerald to stay. He’s in reach of Terrell Owens for second on the all-time receptions list. Between the Cardinals’ defensive success in 2017 and some of their pieces on offense, there’s reason to believe they could become contenders with the right tweaks.

Plus, Fitz is still a darn good receiver.

As Fitzgerald comes to a decision about whether he’ll continue his career, we at 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station offer this.

Fitz, won’t you stay here, please?

Use the hashtag #FitzStay to show your support for the receiver to return to the Cardinals in 2018.
