Larry Fitzgerald is a big Tom Brady fan — maybe too big

Odds are good Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald fondly remembers the days when Kurt Warner was tossing touchdown passes his way.

But perhaps he yearns for a different kind of quarterback for reasons not related to football?

“He’s a model of consistency,” Fitzgerald said of New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady when asked about the signal caller. “He’s just unbelievable. Passer rating, touchdowns to interceptions. I mean, the guy does it every single year, and that’s just unbelievable.”

Seems innocuous enough, right? Brady is, after all, one of the best passers in the game, and has thrown no fewer than 28 touchdowns in any of the last four full seasons in which he’s played.

Brady is also a three-time Super Bowl champ, and has guided his team to the big game only to fall just short twice more.

So yeah, he’s a great quarterback.

But according to Fitz, Tom-Terrific is doing quite well off the field, too.

“Not to mention, he has the most beautiful wife in the world,” Fitz continued.

At any rate, from there things get a bit weird — and hilarious.

“He’s every woman’s dream,” Fitz added. “I bought a pair of Uggs just to try to be like him.”
