Suns unveil new court

Along with a complete roster facelift, the Phoenix Suns will have a different look on the court in 2012-13 — literally.
In his first official tweet as Suns President, Jason Rowley linked to the court unveiling video on Suns.com Wednesday.

Some questions arise from the video. Most notably, where’s all the purple?
The Suns have used purple as their primary color since their inception in 1968, and outside of small tinges of it in the PHX logo, there’s none of it to be found on the new court design.
Additionally, with a new court color scheme and midcourt font (that’s also featured on Suns.com), is a new uniform being introduced anytime soon? It would make sense, right?
Suns media day is slated for Monday, so we’ll see if any aesthetic changes in the uniforms are unveiled soon.
