Steve Nash in Vegas? It’s a thought

The artist formerly known as Ron Artest has an idea for new teammate Steve Nash.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Metta World Peace is so impressed with Nash’s on-court abilities, he’d like to see the former Sun take his act to Sin City.

“Nash should do a Vegas magic show,” the Lakers forward said. “They should put his picture on the Flamingo hotel with a picture of him posing spinning the ball with his tongue out. There could be a bunch of strippers around him naked covering themselves with a hat.”

Yeah, ummm, no?

Then again, Suns fans would likely rather see Nash in Vegas than Los Angeles, so maybe World Peace (trust us, it’s as awkward to type as it is to say) is actually trying to help Phoenix fans out.

Nash, though, isn’t really keen on the idea.

“I don’t know how he comes up with this stuff,” Nash said with a smile. “He needs a show desperately.”
