Joe Flacco to play Johnny Unitas in upcoming film

Apr 7, 2013, 11:06 PM | Updated: 11:16 pm

In case you haven’t noticed, it’s Joe Flacco’s world and the rest of us are just living in it.

Since the calendar changed to 2013, all the Baltimore Ravens quarterback has done is win a Super Bowl, claim Super Bowl MVP honors and sign the most-lucrative contract in NFL history.

Well, according to the Baltimore Sun, get ready to add an acting credit to Flacco’s already impressive resume.

Flacco is set to portray another Baltimore star, Hall of Fame QB Johnny Unitas, in a film about his life entitled ‘Unitas We Stand’.

For a guy whose own father called him dull, the honor is quite surprising. Then again, Flacco is only expected to play Unitas in football-related scenes towards the end of the movie.

Still the question has to be asked: What can’t this guy do?
