The Seattle Seahawks’ Doug Baldwin probably wasn’t trying to start any kind of Twitter feud with Arizona safety Tony Jefferson.
And truth be told, he probably hasn’t.
Still, that does not mean what’s shown up in our timeline hasn’t been at least mildly entertaining. Check it out for yourself.
It started with this:
“Devil, I rebuke you in the name of Jesus!” pic.twitter.com/X512K8wY0Q

Seems somewhat innocent, right? Just a statement with a picture of Badlwin giving Jefferson a stiff-arm trying to avoid the tackle. Was this done to insult Jefferson or did Baldwin just think this was a cool picture that helped to get his main point (that whole rebuking thing, you know) across?
Doesn’t matter. Jefferson saw it, and responded.
Apparently I'm the devil for pushing him out of bounds RT @DougBaldwinJr: “Devil, I rebuke you in the name of Jesus!” pic.twitter.com/14u1vkdFpo
