Keith Orr is a special needs student at Olivet Middle School in Michigan who has grown very important to the members of the Olivet Eagles football team.
The team wanted to show how important Orr was to them, so they designed a play — without the coaching staff’s knowledge — to let Keith feel the impact he’s had on them.
One player, Sheridan Hedrick, intentionally took a knee on the opponent’s 1-yard line so that Orr could get into the game and feel the thrill of scoring a touchdown.
As you would imagine, the moment had a profound impact on everyone involved.
