Football playoffs set for Divisions I through V

Division VI began its playoffs last week. Now Divisions I through V are set to begin theirs.

The state football brackets were set and announced Saturday morning. Play gets underway Friday Nov. 8 and Saturday Nov. 9 depending on division.

The top seeds are Mountain Pointe (Division I), Salpointe (D-II), Williams Field (D-III), Show Low (D-IV) and Arizona Lutheran (D-V).

Play begins for divisions I, II and III on Friday Nov. 8 and for D-IV and V on Saturday Nov. 9 at  the sites of the highest seeds. Quarterfinals are at high seeds on Friday (Nov.15) for the divisions I through III and Saturday (Nov. 16) for divisions IV and V. Semifinals for divisions I through III are Friday Nov. 22 at sites to be determined. Semis for divisions IV and V are Saturday Nov. 23 at sites to be determined. State title games for Divisions II, III, IV and V are Friday Nov. 29 and the D-I final is Saturday Nov. 30.

DIVISION II (all 7 p.m. starts)
