Mesa Mountain View stretched its lead Saturday afternoon (Jan. 18) and heads to the finals of the 48th annual Flowing Wells Wrestling Invitational with a 26-point lead over second-place Sunnyside in action at Flowing Wells High School.
Mountain View will have seven wrestlers competing in Saturday night's medal matches, including four who reached the finals. Barring a dismal showing this evening, Mountain View should have the title secured. It would be the first time ever Mountain View has won the tournament.

Rounding out the top five teams are third-place Corona del Sol 172.5, Cibola 171.5 and Ironwood Ridge 149. Corona del Sol has four wrestlers in the finals.
