After Miller presser, internet declares coach owner of ESPN

ESPN had a new owner for a brief moment on Thursday afternoon, at least according to the Wikipedia page dedicated to the company.

Arizona Wildcats coach Sean Miller was listed as the owner of the sports giant for a short time Thursday before it was corrected.

The comical sight on Wikipedia came after Miller addressed the media for the first time Thursday since an ESPN report alleged he was heard on an FBI wiretap about payments to secure the commitment of now-freshman Deandre Ayton.

“There was no such conversation,” Miller said in the press conference. “These statements have damaged me, my family, the university, Deandre Ayton and his entire family.”

Miller discredited the Feb. 23 report by ESPN’s Mark Schlabach, saying it was “inaccurate and completely false.”

After Miller’s press conference, ESPN said it “stands by its reporting on Miller and the FBI investigation.”

As per usual, Twitter went wild after all of this played out.
